Creative Schools has been providing quality care for young children since 1985! We are looking for an early childhood professional to join our team at our Davis Park (RTP) location.

The Curriculum Specialist observes teachers & gives feedback, ensures classrooms remain compliant with sanitation/licensing rules, ITERS & ECERS standards and NAEYC expectations. S/he supports and guides teachers with developmentally appropriate lesson planning, observation & assessments, and classroom management skills. S/he works under the Center Director to provide a high quality early childhood environment.

Requirements:

• BA/BS in Early Childhood Education
• Strong knowledge of Creative Curriculum or project-based learning A MUST
• Experience working in licensed childcare center (5 year minimum) – understanding of ALL age groups birth-5
• Positive attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organization skills & ability to be a “self-starter”
• Current criminal background check with DCDEE
