Philosophy
We believe that children learn best when they feel safe and are able to actively explore the world around them. Through a balance of child-initiated and teacher-directed activities, we strive to enrich a child’s social, emotional, intellectual and physical development. We provide hands-on learning experiences through math, science, art and literacy activities in order to encourage children to become lifelong learners. We believe that in addition to being well-qualified early childhood educators, teachers should be trained and experienced in positive classroom management, to help children build problem-solving and relationship skills. We know that quality early childhood and school-age programs value and actively promote a partnership with children’s families. We encourage families to communicate with us regularly, visit often, and participate in their child’s daily classroom activities.
